THH002 — The Intimate Relationship Between Health and Healing

In his first solo podcast in this series, Dr. Fred answers some questions that many listeners have had about how he got to be who he got to be.  After a long and storied career in mental health and the medical field, Dr. Fred re-learned what he always knew over time.

At the heart of all healing is the beauty of a human connection.

Dr. Fred's history as a healer goes back to his birth.  Since then, Dr. Fred has been honing his skillset and has learned many ways to deliver many forms of healing modalities, none of which were more powerful or effective than simply listening to another person and hearing them for who they are.

To stay effective and in tune, the healer has a responsibility to stay healthy.  Maybe less intuitively, all people pursuing their health, whether identified as a healer or not, are genuinely creating space for others to heal in their presence and thereby meet the qualifications of being a healer themselves.

Health is even more contagious than disease.  Once the space for health is created by a human being, everyone within their reach gets the benefit of the healthy healer's healing art. This may represent a case where everybody wins when a healer is determined to stay healthy in their mind, body, and soul. Everybody benefits from healthy people, especially healthy healers.
