On today’s show, Dr. Fred meets Dr. Rob Carpenter, bestselling author of the book, The 48 Laws of Happiness which has been described as the most thorough, comprehensive, and compassionate book on happiness ever written by a therapist. Dr. Rob is an advocate of mental health for children and adults, and he advises celebrities, pro athletes, and business titans on how they can become the best versions of themselves using scientific and inspirational techniques. He received his master's degree from Northwestern University and doctoral degree from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Rob has been a writer-director at the 2x Emmy Award winning USC Media Institute for Social Change and he is the incoming on-air host for Harvard Health TV at Harvard University. He has worked on shows ranging from HBO's Ballers to ABC's Scandal and his directorial film, American Dropout, will debut nationwide this fall.
