THH012 — What is a Healthy Healer after all?

Hey, it's Dr. Fred. In today's episode, I want to talk about what it means to be a healthy healer. In our recent episode with Sally Alter, she may not label herself as a healer, but she embodies the qualities of one.

Sally's written three books on bipolar disorder and other topics, helping people in meaningful ways. What stood out were two essential qualities: being a great listener and showing kindness, regardless of beliefs.

In today's world, we tend to disregard those with different opinions, hindering true human connection and healing. Sally, on the other hand, naturally resonates with others and promotes healing through empathy.

Her creativity shines through her books, which have been well-received on Amazon. Sally's example challenges the notion that healers must be self-proclaimed professionals. Healing can come from within, through genuine connections with others.

Sally's story redefined what it means to be a healthy healer. I'm grateful for the valuable lessons she shared. Short episodes like these add fun to our important conversations each week. Remember to like, share, and subscribe to help my podcast reach those who need it.
